About the space
This is our nice, pleasant room biking distance to Faceb00k, Amazon, and Stanford. It's also just a short drive to G00gle, or Microsoft and and other top Sillicon Valley Companies. The room is a few minutes drive from downtown Palo Alto and Stanford.
Close to freeway 101.

THE ROOM
The room is comfortable, and a short distance to top Sillicon Valley destinations. The room comes with an alcove (no closet), bed, sheets, blankets, window blinds, and other typical amenities.
The room is in great condition, with a relaxing atmosphere and quite surroundings.
We have high-speed internet (200mbps+).
THE BATHROOM
You will share the bathroom with us. The bathroom has an accordion door which closes fully but cannot be locked.
PARKING
Driveway and off-street parking is available. We can squeeze three vehicles in the driveway if we're careful. One parking spot is reserved for us, but the other two are for guests.
Overnight street parking in East Palo Alto is unrestricted, except for street cleaning.
AMENITIES
All typical amenities are provided! Bedding includes all-cotton bed linens. We have a small toiletries for guests, just-in case you forgot to pack them, and are always more than happy to find anything that suits your needs.
GREAT LOCATION
The home is walking distance to Faceb00k (~25 min) and Amazon (~15 min). It's biking distance to Stanford (~25 min), Palo Alto (~15 min), and G00gle (~30 min), as well as other top Sillicon Valley destinations.
It's driving distance to San Jose (~30 min), and about 40 minutes from San Franscisco (without traffic). We are 2 blocks from Interstate 101.
You can take the train from SFO airport—not fast, but very inexpensive! BART directly from SFO to Millbrae Caltrain station (approx 15 min and $4); train to Palo Alto (under 30 minutes approx $4); then take a short uber ride to our home.
Less than 35 minutes’ drive from both San Francisco & San Jose airports, in normal traffic.
Guests have full access to the bathroom, living room, kitchen, and dining room. We will give you a spare set of keys so you can come and leave the home as you please. The room has its own lock for full privacy.
In terms of hosting style, I plan to give you your privacy. I grew up in the Bay Area so happy to chat local recommendations on places to see or nice restaurants nearby, but also won't pester you with questions.
The neighborhood is super family oriented. There is no car traffic on our street that is not from people that live here.
You'll have your own parking spot nearby and there's also a Caltrain station biking distance away.
