Our home is a short 2 block walk to downtown Mountain View's Castro St with hundreds of restaurants of every nationality. You can't get much closer to downtown! We're close to highways CA85 (0.9 miles), US-101 (1.5 miles), CA237 (1 mile) and I-280 (3.5 miles), although you can't see or hear any of them. I really enjoyed my stay at Anne and Mike's place! There was always consistent and quick communication with them during the entire process of settling in to moving out. It's a wonderful spot near Castro St. (e.g. restaurants and shops), the Caltrain, and shuttles in the morning. They were accommodating as hosts and I would recommend this place to anyone who plans to stay in Mountain View.

I would recommend this place to any intern looking for summer housing. First off, Mike & Anne were excellent hosts. They were always available by phone or e-mail, and they quickly resolved any issues with the house. Second, the location is great. The house is two blocks away from Castro Street, which is where most things are going on in Mountain View. Good dining is always within an arms reach, and the nearest CVS Pharmacy is incredibly close. It's worth noting that this house does not have air conditioning. There are fans throughout the house, but since it's a pretty old place, it can get pretty warm on hot days. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place to summer interns.

This place is a short walk away from public transit, several places to eat (Castro St), and the public library. The host is very friendly and communicative. Note that the amenities listed include air conditioning but there's no air conditioning. If you're looking for a place in Mountain View, I'd recommend living here.
