Beautiful Backyard Studio and Airstream Retreat

About the space

We just finished creating our thoughtfully crafted eco- industrial detached studio. The studio has two french doors that open up to a shared covered deck to expand the space for dining and lounging. The view from the bed of a giant pine tree through the transom windows; feels a bit like your own retreat in the city. The studio space has a king sized bed that can be closed into a twin daybed, a fully tiled bathroom stocked with body wash, shampoo, and towels and a small kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave and french press. The Airstream next door has been completely renovated with a full bed, a sitting area, a stocked kitchen and a second bathroom. Parking is unrestricted street parking, so no permit required and it's free and available. We are only a short five minute walk to Portland’s oldest rose garden, Peninsula Park. Enjoy the magnificent rose garden, play tennis or take a picnic at the park like a native Portlander. Hop on the MAX (Yellow line) and be downtown in just 10 minutes or the airport in 20 minutes. Lyft and Uber are easy and convenient ways to navigate the city as well. And from our studio you can easily walk to the heart of trending N. Mississippi District in under 15 minutes. If you have a car we are only a few blocks from the entrance to I-5 and there is ample street parking near the house.
