Available 2 private rooms, on the top floor of a modern West Seattle townhome. The house is about a 13 minute drive downtown and about 15 minutes away from the airport. This space is ideal for couples, or the solo traveler in town for business or pleasure. There's super fast wifi throughout the house, plus a rotating selection of some of the best coffee blends Starbucks has to offer. In addition to the great coffee, tea and some light breakfast foods will be available. Both rooms are located on the 3rd floor and have a secured door (key provided upon check in). Rooms are equipped with a comfy queen sized memory foam bed, a large workstation, a large closet and dedicated room heat for those chilly Seattle nights. Both rooms will share access to the 2nd and 3rd floor bathrooms. Right across the street from the house, is a bus stop where you can catch the 120 (main bus line) that takes you straight into seattle (about 20 - 30 minutes). Guests will have access to their private rooms on the 3rd floor of the townhome as well as shared access to the kitchen and living room. There are 3 shared bathrooms in the house but guests will mainly use the 2nd and 3rd floor bathrooms. Linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, bath soap etc will be provided. Guests will have access to the living room, the laundry room and the kitchen. The big screen smart TV in the living room has access to, HBO, Netflix, Xfinity on Demand as well as Amazon Video. Though this is a shared accomodation, my interaction with guests can be as little or as much as desired (I respect your privacy). As your host, your comfort is my priority, so if there is ever anything you need from me during your stay (e.g. food recommendations etc.. ), I'd be more than happy to chat with you. I live just up the street but you can easily reach me via call, text, email. I will also make an effort to stop by and greet you at some point during the day of your check-in. You may also occasionally see me doing some housekeeping in the house during your stay. I'm pretty easy going and would be happy to chat with ya. Located half a mile away from the house, is Westwood village. Here you will find a QFC, Target, 24 Hour Fitness, Rite Aid, Post Office, Starbucks, Staples plus a bunch of cool restaurants and fast food options. If none of these options tickle your fancy, downtown Seattle has a ton of stuff to check out. As a seasoned foodie, I'd be happy to loop you in on some of my favorite food spots around town. Don't hesitate to give me a shout. (I have a secret restaurant list that I share with my guests upon request :-) ) It is also is a few miles away from the popular West Seattle Junction (lots of restaurants, boutiques and stuff) plus you'll be surrounded by parks. So if jogging or leisurely strolls are your thing, you'll want to check out Lincoln Park, Fauntleroy Park and Westcrest Park (all within a mile and a half). Sound Transit's Route 560 will get you from the airport to West Seattle in about 20ish minutes (for $2.75). The bus drops you off 0.5 miles away from my house so you can either walk the remaining half a mile, take a cheap uber, or catch the the 120 bus that will drop you right in front of the house. An Uberpool to or from the airport can be anywhere between $10 - $20ish depending on time of day.
