Clare was a fantastic host - she and her husband were incredibly communicative and kind. The property itself was amazing! It's in a lively location with easy access to delicious restaurants. My roommates and I had the best experience!!

Overall stay was excellent - Clare and Michael were extremely easy to reach and took care of any requests swiftly. Great location with lots of restaurants and late-night spots around also an amazing location for transportation (MUNI + BART nearby)

Clare is an amazing host. She is very prompt in communication and helpful for the duration of our stay. We can tell she worked hard in creating a guide so the occupant feels welcomed into the community. The house is clean and fully equipped with necessities. Would definitely recommend Clare's place!

Hosts lived right next door, were very helpful when we needed anything (e.g. changing a lightbulb). Neighborhood is very lively and scenic, a great place to explore in your spare time!

This was my second rental with Clare and the place is really wonderful! The neighbourhood is great and one of the safer areas of San Francisco. It's close to a lot of restaurants, parks, grocery stores etc. The place is nicely furnished, clean, and service requests were dealt with quickly! We had blunt knives and Clare gave us a whole new set. Would definitely recommend living here, even if it is a bit pricy.

Clare’s place was perfect for the term- it was located close to a BART station making travelling across the city easily accessible. The unit was clean with all amenities included and there was no need to buy anything else new. Would definitely recommend Clare as a host and the apartment!

Me and a few of my friends rented this place for coop. Clare was very accommodating and all problems were taken care of quickly (even on weekends). The house was very clean and is in an accessible location. There are lots of food options around, the BART station is two blocks away, a Lyft bike station within a two minute walk and a rock climbing gym nearby (mission cliffs) . The only con I have is that garbage is collected early on Tuesdays, so if you are a light sleeper you might get woken up.

I had a lovely stay! The property was clean and well-furnished when I arrived, and is situated very close to the BART station and other fun amenities in the Mission area. Clare was a great landlord and responded promptly to any requests/inquiries we had.

Clare was a great landlord. She was prompt to help us whenever we communicated our issues and would always give us clear directives. She was very flexible and accommodated me and my roommate's individual needs. The place is nice and cozy. The living area can hosts small group hangouts. It is located near a Bart station which, in my experience, is more reliable than MUNI for commutes. Although, all Bart stations in SF are somewhat crowded and a bit grungy. The neighbourhood seems to always be alive and has many good, affordable food options. The Mission area has character. Overall, I would recommend the unit because landlords can really make or break your living experience and Clare is a solid, reliable landlord.

A great location in the mission, right down the street from Dolores Park. Close to the city subway system (BART). Priced well for a furnished apartment in the city. Clare is an excellent landlord.

I really enjoyed living here! Clare was very understanding, and took care of any requests we had swiftly. And the location of this place is amazing, with so many places to eat and explore on Valencia street!

Clare was an amazing landlord! Not only did she check-in with us at the beginning and end of our stay to make sure everything was okay, but the place was very well-furnished and clean. Its proximity to the Bart and location in the heart of the Mission District were definitely highlights to our stay, as it was easy to get to/from work and other spots around the city, as well as experience nightlife in our own neighbourhood. Overall, a very nice, spacious place for 2 people in a very convenient location in the city.

Clare was a really good landlord for the 4 months we were living at this property. My group was 3 people and we split the rooms relatively evenly. The location was VERY ideal for our situation and was close to groceries, good eats, and plenty of fun bars. The place can get a little cold but the gas stove is pretty warm if you're right by it :)

This was my second time staying in SF, and I really liked this location. The mission has the best food in the city, lots of variety, and there's a bubble tea spot a block away. Very close walk to Dolores park, which is beautiful, and this listing is less than a block away from the subway which takes you all the way up market street for a commute. This also was my first time using PadPiper, so I've been recommending the site and this listing to my friends and new interns. Highly recommend, my favourite coffee shop is El Cafetazo which is only a 1 minute walk up the street

We had a great stay at Clare's place this term. It was reasonably priced considering the size and location. The unit was very clean and nicely furnished. Location was great for food, shops, and proximity to public transit. Clare was very friendly and quick to respond about any concerns we had.

The unit was great and the Clare was easy to work with. It was a pleasure to move in somewhere that was tastefully furnished, had plenty of appliances, utility cables, kitchen utensils and tools available. Clare is an attentive, pleasant and helpful landlord and I would highly recommend staying at this, or any other of her units.

When my friends and I saw this affordable Mission listing to be at a very central location in the neighbourhood, we were easily convinced to book it as our co-op housing last fall. Upon arrival, we were delighted that the place looks just as advertised on the PadPiper listing. The space was fully equipped with fresh linens, sheets, dishware, cookware, and some toiletries which made our move-in easy. My bedroom, which was originally the house's living room, was very comfortable and made for a wonderful, roomy social space with the sofa bed folded up. It also came with a sound system which was huge plus! The kitchen was bright and airy, and the in-house laundry unit was very convenient compared to bringing your laundry to a laundromat. With landlords being very hit or miss in San Francisco, I was very relieved that Clare was an absolute delight as our landlord She was prompt in our communication and was helpful in sorting out a last-minute dilemma with me and my roommates. As well, her flexible guest policy made it easy for visiting friends to stay over with no problem. My friends and I highly recommend having her as your landlord for this gorgeous Mission apartment.

We enjoyed our stay here! Everyone had their own room and the in-unit laundry was a huge plus. Also, this place was close to the BART station making our commute to work fairly quick and there are a lot of food options nearby. Clare has been very accommodating and nice. Initially, we were looking at her 4-bedroom unit, however it was taken and she immediately reserved us this unit and answered all our questions promptly.

Overall, my stay in Clare's property was excellent, and I cannot recommend the location enough for someone working in San Francisco, or willing to commute to the Caltrain further into the valley. It's conveniently located right by a subway station for quick access to all of SF, as well as close to tonnes of great food. The area is quiet and I wasn't once bothered by anybody during my 4 month stay. The space itself is great, it came with everything we needed to cook and the laundry machines were convenient. The central room is inviting and the TV is great to have, as well as the desk. Additionally, I commuted into the valley while staying here and had no issues riding my bike daily about 15 minutes to the 4th and King Caltrain station. There are dedicated bike lanes almost the entire way to and back from the station, and I felt very safe locking my bike in the gated yard at nights.

I lived in this place from May 2017 to August in the living room den, it has a nice, clean kitchen and very convenient location. less than 3 min walk to Bart station and saves me a lot of time. Landlord was really nice, roommates and I had some issues with payment since we were students from Canada, but the landlord was patient, security/key deposit was returned without a hassle. Would recommend this place.

This is place is ideal for students. It's furnished, nice and clean. All you need to bring is your clothes :) It is located near Bart station and there are a lot of good restaurants nearby. The landlord is really nice and responsible.

Wholly satisfied with place and landlord. Located a 3-minute walk from the bart station, which means fast travel, but it also entails many homeless people. The place was fully furnished; there were more than enough hangers for clothes. The place is at the end of a cul-de-sac, so it's generally quiet. Clare was very responsive to emails and questions. She accepts feedback to improve the experience.

I lived at this location from May 2017 to August 2017 and from the very moment I got in contact with Clare, I knew that this experience would be without hiccups. She was very understanding of the complexities of arranging a lease across countries and continents, and was extremely professional from the get-go. As for the place, it was perfect in every sense of the way. The location (400m away from Dolores Park) is the perfect balance between being close to work (10 min bike ride) and being far away that you can really live the SF culture, with the mexican food, local bars, beautiful shops on Valencia and overall very nice people. The interior also met all items on my checklist, from spacious bedrooms to an open kitchen, and a small office with laundry, which was lovely as a study area. The apartment is filled with everything needed, from pots and pans to towels and sheets, so no one had to worry about furnishing a place while moving in, a big plus. Over the course of the 4 months, Clare was highly responsive and could be reached easily if anything happened. The communication was always professional and not a single small hiccup happened, which made for a stress-free environment. Overall I could not recommend this place more, it was an absolute pleasure to live there and it made for a wonderful summer in San Francisco!

Flat itself was clean, spacious and perfectly aligned with description. The best part was the location. The area was quiet, but minutes away from Subway station and plenty of restaurants, bars cafes etc. Would really recommend it !!

Living here for four months was a pleasure. The apartment was very nicely furnished, there was absolutely no hassle involved with the agreement, and Clare was always prompt and kind. The surrounding neighbourhood is lovely, and very walkable.

Overall, I had an extremely positive experience during my time here. Location is great--tons of interesting shops along Valencia, food everywhere, and Dolores Park for weekend hangouts (not to mention Boba Guys...). Close to 16th Bart station (~20 mins commute to Yelp office). Unit was clean with major amenities included. I was in the living room, which is closed off from the other rooms (connects to one of the bedrooms via a door we kept closed). Note that the bed in that room is a (new) pullout couch. Other rooms were fairly cold in early January. Clare was fantastic. Quick to respond, transparent, and honest. No problems getting the deposit back. Would stay here again.

Had an amazing term living here. 2mins walk away from BART and Valencia St, so very convenient to commute and also to find a variety of nice restaurants. The house is cozy and very well equipped and furnished - the mattress was very comfortable! Clare was also very responsive to emails and accommodating. Definitely great value for price and would highly recommend!

A really nice flat in Hayes Valley, one of the best neighbourhoods in San Francisco. Clare is a kind and responsive landlord. Would absolutely live here again!
