Welcome to our home. This 1 bedroom home has a large family room, clean and spacious bedroom with fresh-scented linens. We hope you will enjoy your stay here in the heart of Palo Alto! The space: The home is situated a couple of blocks from El Camino Real, a major road that cuts through all of Palo alto and other major Silicon Valley Cities (Menlo Park, Mt View, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara). Even though the home is nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood, downtown Palo Alto, Stanford Hospital and university is only a 5-minute drive away.

Whether you're coming to town to visit Stanford University, to raise money for your startup by pitching to Silicon Valley VC's, or working for a Hi-Tech company, you may Delight in nearby Downtown Palo Alto or simply relax at our spacious apartment filled with beautiful hardwood floors. Also, we're just a hop, skip, and a jump away from exploring San Francisco or Napa Valley. Our home is your home, and we can't wait to host you! The space Experience Northern California while staying at our Palo Alto apartment, adjacent to Stanford University, and a short bike ride to some of the best restaurants, shops, and nightlife. Enjoy the beauty of the hardwood floors in our apartment which was recently remodeled and refurnished with new appliances and all new furniture (in 2014). We have everything you need to help reinvigorate your senses after a long day of work or play. Overhead fans are found in both bedrooms and in the kitchen to help cool off during warm summer days. Take your remote meetings to new heights of productivity by utilizing the wireless High Speed Internet Access in all of our rooms. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire apartment, the front yard, the driveway, the washer/dryer, and the garage -- basically the whole place! We provide the following starter supplies to get you started… a) For the Kitchen: a roll of paper towels, a set of napkins, a sponge, a tablet for running the dish washer, and a liner for the trash b) For the Bathroom: a roll of toilet paper, some liquid hand soap, a bar of soap for the shower, and clean towels c) For the Bedroom: pillows and clean linens d) For the Closet: a spare set of clean towels, clean linens, a small vacuum, an iron, and an ironing board

Very conveniently located immaculately clean large bedroom suite with kitchenette and sun room. Nest controlled furnace and central AC. Dedicated parking spot and private entrance, plus a large yard. Short walk to downtown Palo Alto, libraries, parks; free shuttle right by the house. Quality furniture, Casper mattress, your own washer dryer. To make sure you have a good stay please read all descriptions and rules before booking! The space: Rinconada Suite is located on the side of the main house and has its own (very large) private yard and entrance. The house was built in 1921 and has been updated throughout. What our guests have loved about Rinconada Suite: -Location location location! Short drive on/off highway 101. Walk everywhere! -How nice the neighborhood is. Old trees line the streets with handsome houses -How comfortable the suite is. Large bedroom and bathroom, laundry room, sunroom -My cleaner-her standard is that floors and surfaces must be so clean that you can eat off them (the $5 extra/day for the 3rd guest goes towards her wages) -We don't require guests to clean up. We do a much better job anyway. -Quality furniture and mattress: I've had guests ask me where I buy my mattress Things you should know about the Suite before booking: -Rinconada Suite is part of a larger three-bedroom house. You have the entire place to yourself, but it DOES SHARE WALLS (but only walls) with the other parts of the house where there may be other guests, like a duplex. You have your own entrance, parking, yard and they have theirs. Please be mindful of noise--normal living is ok, loud parties and music are not. -There is a small kitchenette in the Suite with 2 electric stovetops, dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster oven, and other essentials. -We have Netflix and Chromecast but not cable. -There is a weekly gardener service on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoons. -We love our planet and appreciate it when guests make an effort to conserve as well. Please turn off lights/TV and turn down the heat/AC when you leave the suite; and please wash full loads of laundry and dishes. -Please limit your laundry to only what is incurred during your stay here. And please no laundry after 9PM, as the laundry room shares a wall with a bedroom for the other part of the house. There is also drying rack in the sun room. -Check-in is after 3PM and check-out is at 11AM. I always appreciate it when guests let me know roughly when they plan to check-in and out. It helps with planning and scheduling cleaning. Please message me if you need an early check-in or late check-out. We hope you have a sweet stay in Rinconada Suite! Guest access: You may park anywhere on Channing Ave. You also have a dedicated parking spot on Channing Ave but I like street parking better to get in and out quickly. The parking spot faces the garage doors. You may then enter the yard through the gate on your right hand side when you face the house . Please feel free to enjoy the large yard, and because we have no next door neighbors on that side, noise is not a problem in the yard (but please be reasonable and keep quiet hours after 9PM). Please don’t enter the other yards of the house (spaces are clearly separated so unlikely for guests to trespass by mistake). Other guests also have no access to any part of Rinconada Suite. Through the living room windows, you may sometimes see other guests enter and exit through the front yard to access the main house, but you may choose to keep the shades drawn for more privacy. Other things to note: The Rinconada Suite shares walls with the other unit. You might hear muffled talking from time to time but should be nothing bothersome as we’ve also emphasized the need to be quiet to those staying at the other part of the house. Please also be mindful of your own noise generation. The kitchenette includes the following appliances and amenities: -Mini fridge -Dishwasher -Coffeemaker -Electric stovetops -Microwave -Silverware -Utensils & more!

The space: The apartment is newly upgraded with granite counters, top-of-the-line stove and new refrigerator. Your stay consists of a designated parking space directly outside of the apartment and a coin-operated washer and dryer facility on site. The apartment has been carefully furnished with all the accessories you need to enjoy a comfortable stay. Guests will enjoy fresh and ample linens and towels as well as cable and wifi access. Guest access: Guests can access entire apartment in addition to the designated parking, coin-operated washer and dryer and garbage and recycle bins. Other things to note: This is a drug and smoking-free community and guests are asked to please respect quiet hours from 10pm-6am.
