Spacious NOPA house

Great spot, great host! I stayed here in the Fall of 2019. Everything is just as advertised, with a big backyard on top of it all! Karen was friendly, always responsive, and super helpful. She made us feel welcomed in the city. The area is one of the nicer areas - lots of great food spots nearby - and one of the safer areas in the city. The house is pretty clean and well-maintained. The value is also great considering this is San Francisco. You might want to purchase a small space heater for your room if you get cold easily like I do :P. Overall awesome stay, would book with Karen again!!

Overall I am happy with my stay here. The place is obviously old and basic but very good value for the price for SF. The location is a reasonable bus ride from downtown and on a lively street. It gets cold in the winter so be sure to get a space heater for your room. The place was in reasonable condition when we moved in. At first, Karen's communication over email was slow, but once we arrived and got her phone number, she was very fast to respond to texts. Many times she got stuff done the same day or next day. The unit is on top of a empty old laundromat that was not in use when we were there. Not sure if she will rent that commercial space out because they seemed to be fixing it up for something.

My four months spent at the unit were excellent! The apartment was clean, rooms were large, and the kitchen & living room had lots of space to cook and entertain. Karen was a great host, and was always very responsive whenever we needed something taken care of. The location is also great! Bus lines go direct to SOMA for many workplaces, and there are lots of cute restaurants, bars, and shops on Divis. The only note was that the house does get cold in the winter months, so be sure to use the electric heaters.

Karen was excellent at communicating with us. The apartment was lovely and exactly as described. We were the only unit in the building which was very nice.
