About the space
Sleep comfortably in this cozy cottage that offers 3 beds in two bedrooms and a fold-down sofa bed in the living room. From this home, you can walk to the heart of Mountain View at Castro Street Dana in about 4 minutes. Off-street parking directly in front of the house or in front of our garage. We offer access to the laundry in the garage without an extra charge. We can consider hosting your dog with an additional cleaning fee. Please message us with details and approval before booking.

~~We open all windows and doors to circulate air during all cleanings
~~Our cleaners wash their hands with soap and water before cleaning and wear disposable gloves while they clean
~~We clean with soap and detergents and water and then we disinfect with Lysol Spray and other similar products
~~We put special focus on frequently touched items such as switches, knobs, remote controls, faucets, etc.
~~We wash all linens on hot
~~We clean and disinfect laundry baskets and hampers
~~We vacuum twice and empty the vacuum after every cleaning. We disinfect the vacuum cleaner, dishwasher and washing machine

New City of Mountain View regulations do not allow us to advertise this home for stays of less than 31 days. If you need a shorter stay, check with us because one of the other units is permitted for Short Term Stays.
This is a 1930s backyard cottage type of home. Please don't expect it to be in mint condition. This is typical of what downtown Mountain View has to offer. Try to remember that in writing your review and compare apples to apples. It's completely single level, so if you have some mobility challenges, it may work for you. The big draw of this unit is the location.
~~~~~ABOUT ALL OF OUR HOMES~~~~~
KITCHENS are fully equipped with all plates, glasses, cups, utensils, pots and pans that you would need. We most often include extras like woks, rice makers, various coffee makers (Keurig type, pot, French press), electric water kettle, toaster, blender, etc. If we've missed something, please just ask us.
BEDROOMS-- you'll find no less than two pillows per person--with a variety of thicknesses and styles. There will always be plenty of extra blankets. We offer fleece blankets, down duvets, down alternative duvets, coverlets, throw blankets. Again, if you're not finding something you were hoping for, just message us.
BREAKFAST--we offer some simple breakfast foods, such as coffee, tea, oatmeal packets, pancake mix, breakfast bars, etc. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants in the area or various delivery services can bring meals to the home.
CLEANING--we have pledged to pay our cleaners a Silicon Valley Living Wage. We strive to provide you with a clean home; keeping your cleaning fee low while respecting our local labor force. Our basic cleaning service includes cleaning and sanitizing the home and laundering the sheets and towels. It does not include a daily linen service or a deep cleaning, nor does it include washing mounds of dishes, scrubbing pots and pans, flattening piles of shipping boxes, cleaning a greasy stove with burnt-on food, removing food or smoke odors, etc. Extra cleaning or cleaning during your stay is available for $80 for two hours.
If your stay is longer than a month, you will be required to pay for additional cleanings at $80 for two hours, every two weeks for 2 hours of cleaning. You have prepaid for 2 hours of cleaning at check out. Please gauge appropriately. You are free to leave a big mess, but out of respect for our cleaners, know that you will be billed for anything over 2 hours of cleaning. If you just search online you'll see the kind of struggles that service industry workers go thru in our Silicon Valley economy.
BBQ- we offer a gas BBQ for your use. We don't, however, guarantee propane or cleaning unless you make a timely request. There is a $50 charge for the cleaning and providing a full propane tank
