The place itself resembles the photos taken. The beds are comfortable and the place is relatively clean. The heaters are loud and don't circulate the heat uniformly (some places in the room are cold, some warm) but I think that's typical for older New York buildings. My biggest complaint would be that the landowner went completely unresponsive for weeks during COVID-19 when my roommate and I tried to communicate our situation. We never did get to hear back from them to this day; eventually my roommate and I simply left a month earlier than our agreed date. It's hard to judge what the reason behind this was and I'd be happy to revise this criticism if they would clarify what happened. Regardless, as it stood we did not pay our last months rent (what we were trying to communicate in terms of finding some agreement) and they kept our security deposit.
