About the space
Hello, I am looking for someone to take over my lease from January 1, 2023 - June 30, 2023. The unit is a 2 Bedroom 1 Bathroom apartment shared with a guy, pursuing a PhD at Pitt (who has a cat).
The rent is $825/month (this includes a flat-rate monthly water payment). Electricity, gas, and WiFi are not included in the rent and will have to be shared with the other tenant (typically an extra $100/month per person). The unit has a washer and dryer in the basement, a garbage disposal, dishwasher, a garage for storage, a driveway (free street parking as well - there are always spots). The rent can be paid to the landlord through direct deposit. The room and apartment are quite spacious and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.
The kitchen is fully furnished with an electric stove, microwave, oven, and large fridge. The apartment is close to two Giant Eagles both within walking distance and has a bus stop at the end of the street (61C, 61D, or 93 take you to Pitt/CMU area). Those interested should have income (combined across roommates) of at least 3x the rent (or a cosigner), strong credit and a good landlord reference.
