About the space
Specifics about the unit:
Wifi, electricity, and other amenities are all included in the rent.
The unit is a basement apartment, with natural light access, and a large window in the bedroom. If you’re a plant owner, plants can still grow.
The bedroom is located next to the living room, and is adjacent to a shared bathroom with one other tenant. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink, and cabinet space.
It is the largest room in the unit, and will be furnished: including a bed frame, mattress, mattress topper, desk with shelving and cabinets, desk chair, and shelves. Decorations can be left or taken down.
Large closet space, with shelves and a personal closet organizer included. Closet doors slide, and are mirrored.
There is an additional storage space, as half of the closet outside of the room is available.
There is a closet by the door for bulky jackets, snow gear, etc…
The kitchen, living room, and dining room are all shared spaces. There will be a designated cabinet in the kitchen. Other kitchen amenities include an electric stover, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, blender, toaster, coffee maker, and other specialty appliances. Pots, pants, cutlery, and other dish wear is included and shared.
A laundry machine is included in the unit. There are additional machines directly outside of the unit, in the hallway.
The share spaces are also furnished, and a TV is included.
There are a total of three other tenants. Two are my roommates, one is another subletter. They are all college-aged women, attending classes at the University of Denver.
The neighborhood is peaceful, despite being located near the university. The unit is just a half of a block from a park and a nice running and biking trail. It is also located next to DU's Media Film & Journalism building, and just a block from the sciences and engineering buildings. Outside the unit, there is a courtyard shared with the neighboring apartments.
