About the space
Amazing Private Room available in a very Popular Ballard Location only a 1/2 block from the Ballard High School available June 1st. This is a 3rd floor room with private in suite bath and in backyard a beautifully furnished Patio to enjoy with fountain as well. Monthly rate is $1300 and includes cable, WiFi and all utilities. You must be a pet lover as I have a small dog. He is a very loving 13 yr old, hypoallergenic and friendly King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. Your Room is very bright with a large window with partial view of city and space needle. You also have a patio door leading to your own private deck. There is a key less entry system for the house front door entering the foyer.
This room is fully furnished with a very comfy Queen bed, all bedding and towels for bath, TV w/Xfinity cable box with HBO, Netflix, Amazon and a ton of cable channels, storage ottoman plus additional dresser and chair, closet space and night stand and a small electric fireplace. This is a 3 story townhouse that is a stand alone unit in a complex with other units that share the driveway. There is a BBQ for use on the main floor balcony.
I am a 3 block walk from Rapid Ride Bus D that takes you directly to downtown. The neighborhood is alive and thriving. Less then one block from me are excellent restaurants, ice cream, breakfast places, amazing wine store, high end eateries and bars including the best NY style pizza in Seattle Delancey, the Portalis wine store, Frankie & Jo's Ice Cream parlor, Tarasco Mexican bar and restaurant, Fat Hen for super good breakfast and the best bakery and coffee in Ballard-Rosellini's Bakery and Grumpy D's Coffee House is just up street as well. You cannot beat this neighborhood. There is street parking if you have a car. There is also a Football field with track, tennis courts and a public swimming pool only 1/2 block away at Ballard High School where you can run and use the field as well. Booming Downtown Ballard is a only a 20 minute walk with so many new bars and restaurants its endless! I am right in between 2 beautiful parks for hiking, etc. less then 10 minute drive to Discovery Park and Carkeek Park.
You will be sharing the house with 2 other roommates whose bedrooms are located on the 1st floor and another on the 3rd floor, everyone has their own in suite bath directly connected to their bedroom. I am a female owner and on entryway floor is usually a female travelling Nurse in that bedroom. 3rd Tidy roommate needed. The second main floor has a large kitchen-recently remodeled and fully stocked with everything you will need to cook a great meal. There is an additional 1/2 bath on the 2 floor as well. The living room area has a large sectional sofa for watching games and enjoying movies, cable tv, Amazon, Netflix on a large flat screen smart TV. There is a washer and dryer in our laundry room on 2nd main living area floor. Smoking is allowed only on outside patio or decks. I travel often as I have a vacation home in Canada as well so you will have plenty time to have the entire house to yourself. The room is available June 1st.
