About the space
YOUR SPACE
The Warm Room is one of two designer bedrooms in a guesthouse completely remodelled in 2022. The rest of the place consists of a living room, kitchenette, bathroom (with double-sinks and a tub) plus a hall utility closet. When the other bedroom isn't occupied, you have the whole place to yourself! Otherwise it's a shared apartment with a fully fenced backyard - great for pets! Other facilities include laundry in the garage, a spacious driveway and safe street parking for additional vehicles.
THE PROPERTY
Your guest suite is an excellent commuter home close to tech companies, medical facilities and schools. Santa Clara is a good mid-point between San Jose and the Peninsula. We keep the home stocked with practical amenities for a short or long-term stay.
The space was designed by an interior designer inspired by her favourite boutique hotels around the world.
Right outside your front door is a fully-fenced and gated backyard. Perfect for pets or outdoor living.
Your home gets plenty of light with good ventilation. Air-conditioning in all bedrooms. Central heating throughout the unit in winter. Windows are fitted with both blinds and curtains for privacy and insulation.
The greater property is a duplex. Your apartment/guesthouse is attached to a single-family house but the two are completely separate homes with their own gates, front doors and backyards. You may encounter your neighbours in the street, driveway or laundry room but guests can choose to interact as much or as little as possible.
PARKING
Free street parking. Driveway parking subject to availability – please contact your host. No more than two cars in the driveway unless loading. Do not block driveways. Chain bikes outdoors behind locked gates.
NEIGHBOURHOOD
Residential area near Santa Clara High School and Koreatown. Quiet, safe and suburban, residents tend to drive around town but parks, libraries, petrol stations, restaurants/shops and the post office are all within walking distance.
Prime location on the border of Sunnyvale and Cupertino – perfect for commuting into San Jose or the Peninsula. Or exploring restaurants! Centrally-located and close to transportation without being noisy or congested. We are a stone's throw from multiple tech companies and hospitals.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
We are pet-friendly and you will be notified if the guest in the other bedroom travels with a pet. The neighbour from the house next door has a friendly dog you may encounter in outdoor public spaces like the garage, driveway or street.
